A day dedicated to Cotinus coggygria

Last day I dedicated the whole day to Cotinus trees. I had to make a step further in their development. Mostly I took care of repotting

Before.

After.

Before.

After. From this one I got a bonus since a cut off branch had some roots growing from it.

 Before, with the previous owner.

After.

Hi Nick,
nice trunks. I´m curious if this species is common in your country? Are these plants wild yamadories? In my country (Slovakia) is cottinus available only as garden material.
thanks,
regards, Rasto

Hi Rasto,

Yes this species can be found closer to the sea. But as I know it also grows in Hungary. Anyway all the trees from this post are Slovenian yamadori.

Nik
