Prunus in new pot

This is a yamadori I dug two years ago. Last year it was styled for the first time but I sadly have no photo.

This year it got a new pot which is not final. Also the crown has to get much wider in the lower part.

The £5 cotoneaster

I bought this cotoneaster in Burrs, England in 2011 at an auction for £5. In some time it will become a fine shohin.

A day dedicated to Cotinus coggygria

Last day I dedicated the whole day to Cotinus trees. I had to make a step further in their development. Mostly I took care of repotting

Yesterday when I returned home late in the evening I got an ''itch'' to style a little larch. Then I remembered that on that on this day friends are working at Tomaz's place. Therefore for some company I drove 10 minutes away from home where I styled the tree. Assuming in record time since I was done in a little more then an hour. :)

 

 

There is still a branch at the back that I left on as insurence and will cut it off in summer..
