Blossom

Today, on a specially warm day my japanese apricot (prunus mume) opened its first blossoms. I still think it's most interesting that these trees blossom in winter.

Winter conditions

These days the temperature is staying under 0°C day and night. So the trees look apropriet to those conditions.

Plans for the future

Because there is no other work to do I was making some drawings and plans for a few trees.
I can't wait for spring to come.

Prunus mume

In these winter months there's not much going one. Actually there is nothing going one, moste of the trees are under the snow and resting. That is the reason for me not posting anything on my blog recently.
Well, while all bonsai are resting, my prunus mume shohin is getting ready to flower.

I'll post the pics when the flowers are fully developed.
