I bought this garden lilac - Syringa vulgaris in 2007 for a very cheap prise. When I got it it was over 2 m high.
That year I reduced the trunk radicly. In summer 2008 it greww menny new branches.
This year I repotted id in this smaller pot.
This weekend I decided to work on the stumps of the cut off branches. In this picture the lower stump is allredy done.
Here both are done.
The stumps are burned a bit and the branches wired.
Tha nebari is lousy. That-for I decided to air-layer it this spring.
