Maple getting nice

The maple I stylet on the last time got repotted. And I must say, when I look at the past images of this one I'm astouned of how it looked like. This one will become a lovely tree.

Hey Nik I have a question when I am pruning the branches of a bonsai in terms of best ramification what do I leave and what should I cut if you can help me out...like I know it's best to get rid of any branch going down but what else do I have to do ??? THANKS

All you have to do is cut too the first bud on the new growth. That's all.

Wow but I don't have to worry about what direction each new branch is going or if two branches are overlapping ???

Thanks anyways

You see in wich direction one bud points and that is where the new branch will grow.
