Pinus nigra - big bending

Today when I was enjoying in my bonsai, my eye stopped on this black pine. Actually it stopped on this curve of the upper branch. So I got to work. First I wrapped the branch with rafia.

And then in plastic tape.

I used some special techniques.

The look for now.

In spring I will repot the tree. And in the future I will holow the lower part of the trunk.

Maple - repotted

I repotted this maple (acer palmatum 'deshojo') allredy some while ago into this ERIN pot.

Some people dought in my repotting in autumn. But I told them, that I will keep all repotted bonsai in the winter in a room where the temperature will be allways above O°C.

The maple has only been repotted now. In sprin it will be pruned and wired a bit.

Oh wel... Anyway we enjoyed on the excellent displayed trees.

'Jesensko listje' - Fall colours

There's another wanderfull Saturday behind us. This time a competetive one. We held a competition in shaping bonsai.
The trees were for quite a few levels higher/bether then on all out meethings to date. Seven hours of shaping went by like a blick of an eye, I can't belive it myself.
Big thanks to the organizers that took cate for most of the organization.
